New Jersey boasts a variety of waterfalls, ranging from easy-to-reach spots to more challenging ones, and from small hidden gems to impressive larger waterfalls. If you’re in North Jersey, you’re likely close to a waterfall! Use the map below, click on any image, or use the list on the sidebar to discover your next waterfall adventure.
I created this page because I kept coming across incomplete or inaccurate waterfall lists for New Jersey. Many were missing important waterfalls or seemed to be either AI-generated or written by people who had not actually visited the spots. My goal is to visit every waterfall in the state myself, and for those waterfalls with detailed posts, you can count on all the information and photos being from me. To make sure the list is as complete as possible, some waterfalls haven’t been visited recently or at all. For now, these waterfalls only have basic information and don’t yet feature full posts.
New waterfalls are always being added as I discover them, so be sure to check back regularly! And if I’ve missed any, feel free to let me know in the comments below!
