Wanaque River Falls is a small roadside waterfall along the Wanaque River in West Milford. The waterfall is located on a major river, so while other waterfalls nearby may dry up, Wanaque River Falls flows consistently, with the highest flow during the spring.
Despite being a roadside waterfall, it is nearly impossible to see it from the road itself. The best way to reach the waterfall is to park in one of the designated fishing parking areas on East Shore Road and walk down the road to the waterfall.
The waterfall is upstream of Mine Hole Falls, a larger, but off-limits waterfall.
