Tinton Falls is a small waterfall located in the town of the same name. The waterfall is notable as the largest and arguably only one in the New Jersey Coastal Plain, a typically flat and sandy area of the state; as such, it is also the southernmost waterfall in the state.

At only 8.6 feet tall, the waterfall is not large, but it appears bigger than other waterfalls of its size as it fans out into a vast pool.

Tinton Falls is located in a somewhat developed area. The best way to view the waterfall is actually from the back deck of MJ’s Restaurant, which has a clear view of the cascade. There is also a small park on the opposite side of Pine Brook from the restaurant, with a small trail to the waterfall.
