Unnamed Waterfall on Dunnfield Creek 4 is a small waterfall in Worthington State Forest. The most direct way to reach the waterfall is to take the Appalachian Trail from the Dunnfield Creek Parking Area off Route 80. After just 0.4 miles, you will see the waterfall on the right. If you continue up the trail, you will reach the 17-foot Dunnfield Falls.

This waterfall is also visible on the popular Mount Tammany Loop. The general recommendation for hiking Mount Tammany (and one that we agree with) is to hike up the Red Mount Tammany Trail and down the Blue Pahaquarry Trail, which later leads to the Appalachian Trail at Dunnfield Creek, where you will see the waterfall on the return to the parking lot.

This unnamed waterfall is a short slide that first falls at about a 45-degree angle, then flattens to a nearly level slope, ending in a small pool.

Getting close to this waterfall is very challenging, but unlike many of the other waterfalls on the same creek, you have an okay view of it from the trail, though you will want to get closer for the best one. There is a user-made trail down from the Appalachian Trail to the creek. This trail is very short but incredibly steep, and you will likely need to use your hands to get down. Unfortunately, the soil here is also very loose, making it more challenging to reach.
