Points of Interest

The Park

Schooley’s Mountain is primarily used for hiking and picnicking. The trails at Schooley’s Mountain range in difficulty. In general, the trails from the main parking area are relatively flat and easy. The trails starting from the Fairview Avenue parking area are more challenging and feature an extended uphill to reach the top of Schooley’s Mountain. The Blue Trail to the waterfall is challenging due to the rocky landscape, and it is best experienced hiking upstream.

Schooley’s Mountain is popular, but features a massive parking area. You will likely be able to find parking, but some areas, especially the waterfall trail, may be crowded. For those wanting a quieter hike, there are trails across East Springtown Road that are quieter but not too interesting.
