Points of Interest

  • Sunrise Lake

Sunrise Lake Beach Club

Sunrise Lake Beach Club is a small lake located at the northern end of the park. During the summer, the lake is open for swimming on select days. See the lake website for current hours and rates. The lake features lifeguards and a small snack stand.

For an additional fee, Sunrise Lake also offers a “Wibit,” an inflatable obstacle course in the middle of the lake, and pedal boat and stand-up paddleboard rentals.

Fishing is also available. Beach admission is not required to fish.

Unfortunately, the price of admission is somewhat steep. As of 2025, adult admission is $12 on weekdays and $16 on weekends. Beach tags at many shore towns are cheaper than that. Fortunately, at $3 for a 20-minute session, the Wibit price is more reasonable.

The Trails

Lewis Morris Park features a large maze of trails. The trails are most popular with mountain bikers, but can also be used by hikers and horseback riders. A trail map is recommended as there are many trails available.

As many of the trails are designed with mountain bikers in mind, they are generally smooth and winding.

Unfortunately, despite the large quantity of trails, none are particularly interesting. Despite this, they are all well-maintained and easy to follow.
