Unnamed Waterfall on the Black River is a small waterfall located at Hacklebarney State Park. Despite being only 4.3 feet tall, the waterfall is located on the major Black River (also known as the Lamington River downstream), and flows consistently well. While other waterfalls in the park can dry to a trickle, this unnamed cascade always has water.
The waterfall is located on the Red Trail along the Black River. The waterfall is located on a bend in the river and features a couple of small drops. An easy-to-reach bench is located next to the waterfall, although the view is limited due to the multiple drops. The best view is next to a large and impossible-to-miss boulder on the riverbank. An unmarked trail leads to the river, where visitors can see the waterfall head-on.
This unnamed waterfall is one of many waterfalls located at Hacklebarney State Park. For more information on how to get to this waterfall, as well as the others in the park, click the button below.
