Otter Hole Falls is an easy-to-reach waterfall in Norvin Green State Forest. From the parking area on Otterhole Road, the waterfall is only a few hundred feet down the trail.
The waterfall is a multi-step waterfall consisting of two primary drops. Both sides of the waterfall offer excellent areas to view it.
The Highlands and Hewitt-Butler Trails cross over the top of the waterfall via a set of stepping stones. During times of exceptionally high water, these stones are covered, and it is not safe to cross.
Otter Hole Falls is just upstream of a handful of good, but off-trail waterfalls. Visiting most of the other waterfalls requires a bushwhack, as there are no defined trails. Much further downstream is the impressive Chikahoki Falls, which can be visited by remaining on trail.
