Bridal Veil Falls is a moderately sized waterfall located on the edge of William Paterson University. The waterfall is notable as the only one in the state where you can walk behind it.
Despite being on public land and being visible from the road, reaching Bridal Veil Falls is somewhat challenging. This is because there are no official access points, so you have to bushwhack, which varies from moderate to surprisingly steep depending on how you access it. Additionally, the nearest and most direct parking area to the waterfall is at a small strip mall on the corner of West Overlook Avenue and Belmont Avenue, but this lot has multiple posted signs forbidding parking for non-customers.
