Here, you will find guides to the many attractions in Northern New Jersey, with a special focus on outdoor recreation such as hiking, biking, and kayaking, as well as guides to the many parks in the region. I started this page after being frustrated reading guides from people who have clearly never been to the places they are writing about. I have visited every location described on Explore North Jersey, many of them multiple times. Every post here is a firsthand account featuring descriptions based on my experiences and pictures I have personally taken.
